PKL Services, Inc. (PKL) has received notice of award from prime contractor, 4M HR Logistics on 17 August 2022 that the team was the successful awardee of the Commander Naval Air Forces Atlantic (CNAL) Flight Line Maintenance Support contract located at VX-1, NAS Patuxent River, Patuxent River, MD.
The work for this Task Order will be providing O-level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, logs and records support, and Technical Directive compliance on the MH-60R helicopter (Sikorsky), the E-2D tactical twin turboprop aircraft (Northrup Grumman), and the P-8A reconnaissance aircraft (Boeing) at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron-One (VX-1).
PKL will deliver services via a team of 17 full time employees at the VX-1 site. All of these positions fall under a collective bargaining agreement through the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace workers (District Lodge 4).
This three-year (base plus two one-year options) opportunity will begin transition on 1 October 2022 with the base period beginning on 1 November 2022. The contract is anticipated to end by 31 October 2025.

PKL has been featured in a recent article by Comparably for recognition of companies that provide great health benefit plans for their employees. For the third year in a row, PKL has been awarded the status of “Veteran Ready” by VETS – Beyond the Uniform. This recognition represents our dedication and commitment to hiring veterans and supporting their transitions to the civilian workforce.
At PKL, we retain an average 90% of veteran personnel across our company. We understand and appreciate the unique skill sets these employees bring from their military experience to help us better serve our customers.
The VETS – Beyond the Uniform program provides military veterans free access to a wide range of services including specialized assessments, one-on-one coaching & mentoring, video interview packages, and access to hundreds of workshops to support the missing skills & certifications to help them successfully integrate and be effective in the civilian workforce. We are proud to be recognized by this organization for another year.

The first edition of World Defense Show has successfully concluded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the event positioning itself for the future as an essential fixture in the defense and security sector calendar.
Throughout the week the PKL Services team was able to showcase the aviation maintenance, logistics, aerospace training, and mixed reality training services that make PKL a preferred service provider and partner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and around the globe.
