PKL Services, Inc. began the ISO 9001:2008 certification process on April 3, 2010. Our company was assessed based on an extensive review and analysis of our sites, functions, services, and processes. On June 24, 2011, PKL Services, Inc. was awarded a Certificate of Approval by Smithers Quality Assessments. Our certificate number 11.175.1 for certification of a Quality Management System is valid through June 23, 2014.
ISO 9001 is a quality management system designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers or stakeholders. The standards are published by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO 9001 sets the requirements that organizations wishing to meet the standard must fulfill.

Our Hawaii NAVAIR team members were acknowledged by MALS-24 for their outstanding work in assisting with the wreckage of a CH-53D that crashed on the sandbar. The PKL team is proud of the outstanding work our Hawaii team completed.

The VMFAT-101 QA division from MCAS Miramar was recognized for their outstanding work in the June Issue of Mech Magazine. AMCS Raymond Nichols wrote a brief article summarizing the efficiency and accuracy of the audit procedure set up for the VMFAT-101 QA division.

PKL”s President & CEO Samuel Flores, Jr. made a significant donation to the Marine Aviation Memorial Tower on behalf of PKL Services, Inc. The memorial tower is located at the Veterans Memorial Park in Pensacola, FL. The dedication ceremony was held in August 2012 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Marine Aviation. It was established to honor the stories of Fallen Marine Aircrew and Sailors. The tower was funded entirely by donations, spearheaded by the MCAA McCutcheon Squadron of MCAS New River.
