Our PKL H-1 team was presented with a Letter of Appreciation from HMLA 469 by the CO for the services they provided while deployed in Afghanistan. A patch was flown in their honor on November 10, 2012 for their contributions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Click here to see the award and patch that was presented to our team.

PKL Services, Inc. has provided a platinum level sponsorship for the San Diego State University Aztec Cheerleaders Squad. Our local University has had great years recently in Basketball, Football, Golf, and Swimming. The Aztecs cheerleaders are made up of a team of 35 talented, hard working, and dedicated students that help support the school’s teams. Additionally, the squad competes yearly in National Cheerleading Competitions and is consistently ranked in the top 5!
Aztec cheerleader Nicolette Goward came by our PKL Corporate office to accept the sponsorship from President/CEO Samuel Flores, Jr. and Executive VP Paul Callan.

PKL Services, Inc. recently received a sole-source contract award by the US Air Force (USAF), in support of USAF and Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15 aircraft, beginning 1 October 2012. This multi-year contract provides functional elements spanning operations, maintenance, and simulator support to maintain the RSAF F-15SG and the USAF F-15C/D & F-15E aircraft with the 366th Maintenance Group at Mountain Home AFB, ID.
Services provided by the contract include Aviation Services & Support; Database Development, Management & Maintenance; Operation & Maintenance Services, and; Training, Education & Distance Learning. PKL Services, Inc. will provide coordination, maintenance, servicing, ground handling, inspection, and repair of all assigned Mountain Home AFB aircraft, aircraft components, engines, and associated mission support equipment as well as flying and maintenance scheduling, database management and analysis, centralized control, maintenance training functions, and specialized support functions.
For this contract, PKL will employ approximately 110 personnel, including pilots, Simulator operators, quality assurance inspectors, weapons technicians, avionics technicians, ground equipment technicians, and instructors.

PKL Services has made a considerable donation to the Banning Broncos Football Team. Our donation went towards providing both practice and game uniforms for the team.
The Banning Broncos are a JAAF team based out of Banning, CA. They are looking forward to a great first season and we wish them the best!

Congratulations to our VMFAT-101 team for their contribution to the Department of the Navy CPI Project Competition. It was announced on April 27, 2012 that the MALS-11/VMFAT-101 Phase Maintenance Project won the DON CPI Project Competition, in the category of “Best Example of Readiness / Availability Impact”.The Phase Maintenance Project will be showcased at the 2012 Annual DOD Performance Symposium in June 2012.
We would like to commend and recognize all of the Marines, Sailors, and PKL Team Members that contributed to this award! Congratulations!

PKL Services has added their contributions and support to the Joe Foss Scholarship Award Program. This program provides scholarships to deserving high school seniors that demonstrate “Joe Foss”-like qualities and who understand American values and the cost of freedom. PKL Services provided its donation to the MCAA Joe Foss Squadron in Okinawa, Japan where the scholarship funds will go to students from the Matthew C. Perry High School in Iwakuni or the Kubasaki High School in Okinawa.
We are proud to support such a commendable program and are encouraged by the humility and pride of the recipient students!

In January 2012, PKL was awarded a GSA contract under Schedule 874V (LogWorld), with contract number GS-10F-0143Y. The Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) Multiple Award Schedule 874 V includes all phases of planning, acquisition and management of logistics systems, providing expert advice and management, or operational support services that permit the deployment of materials and personnel. Training is provided in system operations, automated tools for supply and value chain management, property and inventory management, distribution and transportation management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities supporting these activities.

One of PKL”s Team Leads, Robert Johnson, participated in the third annual Over the Edge of Waikiki fundraising event on November 5th, 2011. Rob was among 120 participants that rappelled 31 stories down the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. All profits raised from the event were to support the athletes of Special Olympics Hawaii.
This year”s event also drew the largest military participation of any past years.
