PKL’s CEO and Director of Air Force Programs recently spent time at Mountain Home AFB, ID attending the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) detachment’s Singapore National Day Celebration. This was the 59th annual celebration for Singapore. There was a welcoming ceremony for all the attendees which included all the Singapore service members and their families followed by celebrations for everyone to participate in.
Formerly a British colony, Singapore gained independence on the 9th of August 1965. Singaporeans celebrate this proud day by turning the island red and white, with flags outside buildings and homes. Mountain Home was no exception as a great time was had by all in attendance.
We appreciate the opportunity to have spent time with our customer and to experience their culture and traditions.
